Chinese Knotted Bracelet with Genuine Jade Flowers by Han Jewel (BS106)

This unique Chinese knotted bracelet features four pale greenish-white jade four-petaled flowers, cleverly intertwined as if growing on vines, with tiny deep green jade beads between them. The bracelet is hand knotted with moss green cotton cord. Two sets of four matching tiny green jade beads are at the ends of the pull cords.

This lovely piece was hand knotted by Han Jewel, two California Chinese girlfriends. It adjusts to fit from 6 inches to 8 inches by pulling the end cords.

Chinese knotting is an ancient folk art, which has existed in Chinese daily life for more than a thousand years. Jade is a symbol of wealth and power in China. Ancient Chinese believed that jade was a link between human beings and the golds and deflected evils. Confucius claimed that jade had the qualities of benevolence, wisdom, justice, courtesy, loyalty, happiness, trustworthiness, heaven, earth, virtue and truth.
