Russian St. Basil's Cathedral Landmark Bead in Sterling Silver by Carina
Don't forget your trip to Moscow's Red Square where you saw this fanciful St. Basil's Cathedral. This famous Cathedral of Saint Basil the Blessed or The Cathedral of the Protection of the Mother of God is a multi-tented church on the Red Square in Moscow that also features distinctive onion domes. The cathedral is seen as symbolic of the unique position of Russia between Europe and Asia. This unusual sterling silver bead features a truly amazing three dimensional St. Basil's Cathedral, complete with onion top rooms, with a 5 mm. interior bead hole to wear as a pendant or on a bracelet. This bead is compatible with chains by all the major brands, such as Chamilia, Pandora, Pasha, Biagi, Troll, and Bling. Its measurements are approximately 1/2" long by 1/2" tall.
This incredibly detailed bead was designed by San Francisco Bay Area artist Shani Yokoyama, then hand carved by a master bead wax carver, and then cast in high quality sterling silver with oxidized accents. Clean only with a silver cleaning cloth, and do not use silver polish dip. Collect all of the Landmark Beads (see more in the alternative view) to remember your travels.
