New York Statue of Liberty Landmark Bead in Sterling Silver by Carina
This inspiring sterling silver bead features a three dimensional head of the famous Statue of Liberty in New York harbor, often the first sight of immigrants arriving in the "New World" of America, the land of the free. Liberty Enlightening the World, known more commonly as the Statue of Liberty, is a large statue that was presented to the United States by France in 1886. It stands at Liberty Island, New York in New York Harbor as a welcome to all. The copper patina-clad statue, dedicated on October 28, 1886, commemorates the centennial of the United States and is a gesture of friendship from France to America.
This bead features a 5 mm. interior bead hole to wear as a pendant or on a bracelet. This bead is compatible with chains by all the major brands, such as Chamilia, Pandora, Pasha, Biagi, Troll, and Bling. Its measurements are approximately 3/8" long by 1/2" tall. This incredibly detailed bead was designed by San Francisco Bay Area artist Shani Yokoyama, then hand carved by a master bead wax carver, and then cast in high quality sterling silver with oxidized accents.
